How accurate is the moving calculator?
The estimate is based on empirical values (volume per square metre, level of furnishing, extra rooms) and gives a good orientation. We determine the exact volume during a free site visit on site or by video.
Will I be shown prices?
No. The calculator estimates volume and effort (boxes, vehicle, team, duration). We give the binding fixed price individually after a short site visit — that way we avoid unrealistic flat rates.
How is moving volume calculated?
As a rule of thumb, count about 0.5–0.6 m³ of moving volume per square metre of living space. Depending on furnishing and extra rooms (cellar, garage) the calculator adjusts this value.
How many moving boxes do I need?
A rough guide is about one box per square metre of living space, more for fuller homes. The calculator gives you a suitable number as a starting point.
